The wine
Chinon is a small picturesque town of 9000 inhabitants, located near the Loire River, in the middle of the Loire Valley. Became Unesco world Heritage in 2001 and is the birthplace of RABELAIS born in year 1484, famous lawyer, doctor, Evangelist and writer “No man can hate the noble wine".
Terroir
Clos de la Lysardière covers the majority of Chinon’s terroirs. The vineyars consists of 5ha of vines, situated in a clay-limestone hillside. The excellent potential of plots permits a wonderful grape maturation.
Vinification
Completely destemmed and vatted for 12-18 days. Fermentation in temperature-controlled vats.
Maturing
4-5 years but better to drink it within the next 2 years to keep the maximum of fruits and fresh aromas.

Serve slightly chilled (14-16°C).
