The wine
The Muscadet Côtes de Grandlieu is the most oceanic appellation of the Loire Valley.
Situation
The vines are located on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean through the Grandlieu Lake.
Terroir
A thin loamy-sand soil on granite bedrock that permits a rapid maturation and fast growth.
Vinification
Soft pressing. Sking maceration for a part of the “cuvée”. Fermentation in temperature-controlled vats to preserve the aromatic potential.
Maturing
Ageing on fine lees for 8 months to bring roundness, fullness and minerality.

Serving
Enjoy chilled (8 to 10° C).
Tasting notes
Pale gold colour with silver highlights. Expressive bouquet of white fruits (ripe pear, apple). Ample and fruity on the palate, it combines perfectly elegance and minerality. Well rounded-persistence of the final, with notes of pears.
Food pairing
It is a perfect accompaniment to seafood, grilled and freshwater fishes, chicken with candied lemon.
